Impact of event/topic during the Civil Rights Era:
The Montgomery Bus Boycott changed America in so many ways! It created a bunch of racism problems between whites and blacks! After awhile, the blacks were getting upset with the bus rules. So soon enough, blacks started walking to their destinations instead of taking buses! The Montgomery bus boycott would have a huge impact not only Montgomery but most of Alabama. It also showed faith in a young Martin Luther King Jr. and started him on his way to being a contender in the fight against racism. I also believe it gave courage to other African Americans at the time to stand up for themselves. The huge impact the Montgomery bus boycott had on civil rights will always be remembered.

This Boycott changed America today as well. The Blacks decided to stop riding the buses until they were desegregated. Because the African Americans were such a big portion of the people who rode the bus's they would have no choice but to desegregate. The Montgomery Bus boycott was one of the first major turns in the civil rights movement!
